Dashi for iPhone

Dashi is an app for learning Hiragana & Katakana, the building blocks of Japanese language.

As a self-initiated project, Dashi was first released on the Apple store in late 2012 and reached number 35 in the Education category.

A dual identity

Comprising over 220 page layouts, Dashi’s visual language references the dual identity of its English/Japanese content as well as the relationship between Hiragana and Katakana.

Created in response to the largely over-complicated language apps available on the store, Dashi quickly received favourable reviews for it's simplicity and ease of use.
